Global Organization Catalyst 2030 Extends Invitations to Join
Reinventing Retirement 50plus Chapter Global Roadshow
Berlin, Germany, August 9th, 2023 – Catalyst 2030, a fast-growing global movement dedicated to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030 (SDGs), is delighted to extend a warm invitation to individuals from the Baby-boomer and X Generations to join its 50plus Chapter and participate in the Reinventing Retirement 50plus Chapter Global Roadshow. This global initiative seeks to envision a society that offers new opportunities for seniors, redefining the concept of retirement while being inspired by the SDGs.
Launched during the 2020 World Economic Forum in Davos, Catalyst 2030 was founded by award-winning social entrepreneurs in collaboration with Ashoka, Echoing Green, the Schwab Foundation, and the Skoll Foundation. The movement, spanning 110+ countries, unites over 2,000 social entrepreneurs and impact actors who firmly believe in the power of collaboration to drive positive change. By engaging with governments, grassroots organizers, NGOs, and other social impact actors, Catalyst 2030 aims to challenge existing systems and create meaningful impact worldwide.
About the 50plus Chapter: Mobilizing Expertise for the SDGs
The 50plus Chapter is a special Catalyst 2030 initiative aimed at mobilizing seasoned professionals from the Baby-boomer and X Generations to contribute their expertise towards achieving the SDGs. The chapter operates in partnership with LIFELONG, a social startup with a mission to promote a New Longevity mindset and support individuals and organizations facing the challenges of this demographic shift.
Join the Reinventing Retirement 50plus Chapter Global Roadshow
The Reinventing Retirement 50plus Chapter Global Roadshow is a unique networking platform for individuals interested in envisioning a society that offers fresh opportunities for seniors and reshapes the traditional notion of retirement while drawing inspiration and motivation from the SDGs. The roadshow promises to be a transformative experience, with a focus on collaboration, exploration, and collective impact.
The roadshow will travel through major cities across Europe, the Americas, and Asia creating a vibrant and supportive community of like-minded individuals. In addition to the in-person events, the 50plus Chapter will host online sessions accessible worldwide, ensuring inclusivity and convenience for participants.
Registrations for monthly online sessions scheduled for the season 2023/204 the “Reinventing Retirement” Global Roadshow are already open at the Eventbrite platform.

Get Involved and Make an Impact
The 50plus Chapter of Catalyst 2030 welcomes individuals from the Baby-boomer and X Generations to participate in this meaningful endeavor. There are various ways to join the efforts, including organizing meet-ups, engaging in online sessions, and contributing expertise toward achieving the SDGs. Ricardo Neves, the 50plus Chapter coordinator, expressed enthusiasm for engaging new participants, stating, “We believe that by uniting diverse talents and experiences, we can create real, lasting change. We invite interested individuals to reach out to us directly, so together, we can identify suitable channels and activities where their talents and availability can make a significant impact.”
