The 50plus Chapter is a special of initiative of Lifelong in partnership with Catalyst 2030 aimed at mobilizing seasoned professionals from the Baby-boomer and X Generations to contribute their expertise towards achieving the SDGs. 50plus Chapter serves as a networking platform for boomers and X-Gens interested in envisioning a society that offers new opportunities for seniors and redefines the concept of retirement, inspired and motivated by the SDGs.

Catalyst 2030 is a fast-growing global movement comprising individuals and organizations committed to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030 (SDGs). Launched at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2020, it was founded by award-winning social entrepreneurs in partnership with Ashoka, Echoing Green, the Schwab Foundation, and the Skoll Foundation. It is a global community, spanning 110+ countries, consists of 2,000+ social entrepreneurs and impact actors who firmly believe in the power of collaboration. Together, the members of this community strive to challenge existing systems by changing the narrative and engaging with governments, grassroots organizers, NGOs, and other social impact actors.

Reinventing Retirement and SDGs Global Roadshow

The 50plus Chapter is promoting from September 2023 a global roadshow which promises to be a transformative experience, with a focus on collaboration, exploration, and collective impact. The roadshow will travel through major cities across Europe, the Americas, and Asia creating a vibrant and supportive community of like-minded individuals. In addition to the in-person events, the 50plus Chapter will host online sessions accessible worldwide, ensuring inclusivity and convenience for participants.
